Daniéla Perényi
About me.
Hi, I’m Daniela! I am a psychologist currently in the final semester of my Master’s in Clinical Neuropsychology, and I am deeply passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with confidence and self-awareness. From an early age, I have been genuinely striving to understand those around me through attentive listening and an open, non-judgmental approach. My formal education and real-world practice in psychology in the Netherlands have allowed me to put this philosophy into practice and refine my professional skills.
I am well-versed in areas such as ADHD, burnout, feelings of isolation, self-esteem, and self-acceptance. Throughout my journey, I have also worked with clients navigating significant life transitions - such as starting a new job, relocating, or managing relationship challenges. My approach is integrative and flexible, combining evidence-based techniques such as CBT, ACT, Positive Psychology, and Solution-Focused Therapy. To support my clients’ goals, I focus on helping them discover practical strategies that fit their unique situations.
Dr. Gabor Mate puts it best when he states, "Modern society teaches us to distance ourselves from our emotions, even though the key to healing lies in connecting with our deepest feelings.” As your psychologist, I will embody this ethos, and work with you to reconnect with yourself and foster meaningful change.
